The venue was an attractive lakeside location in the Bedfordshire countryside, adjacent to the A1 / A428 junction.
Accommodation was available on site with all bedrooms offering en-suite facilities, or for camping, tents only.
Within the complex there is an 18-hole golf course and driving range, a Health and Fitness Club and water sports centre with swimming pool, available to you for a nominal charge.
Those with gastronomic aspirations attended a gala dinner on Saturday night where the speaker was John Ward, the most eccentric living British inventor ! It was followed by a disco.
A full entertainment programme included planned drives around the attractive neighbouring countryside, a fun autotest/ gymkhana, National Club Concours competition, trade and auto jumble stands, a display of special cars and a Go Kart challenge.
The Oriel Jazz Band provided live open-air music on the Sunday.
